Objectives

Even though basic database design is heavily covered in CET 4427 (the pre-req) for this class, some students may want to review the concepts of design.

Tutorials

http://www.geekgirls.com/menu_databases.htm - This tutorial covers both using and creating simple databases. The examples are very simple and easy to follow.

http://www.surfermall.com/relational/lesson_1.htm - Very simple, but also straightforward start to basic database design. 

http://www.sqlservertutorials.com/index.php - This site is free for the first 45 minutes, after that it is pay, however they are high quality and cover all of the basics.
